The story follows Yuuji Sakurabashi, a boy with a phobia of fictional stories. Through a strange series of circumstances, he ends up with a job at a café that is also an office for social game scenario writers. There he meets Yosuga Myoujin, a writer of the popular game GATE of Guardian.
