With ancestors who have inherited the practice of fortune-telling since the Joseon Dynasty, Seulbi is imprisoned as a fortune-teller in the wealthy Geumhwa family, unable to choose her own partner or life.

One day, however, she meets Sugwang, a young man from a fishmonger's shop. Fatefully, he becomes the man of her destiny. As a result, Sugwang is targeted by the Geumhwa Group, leading to a life of repeated misfortune and downfall.

The cheerful Seulbi refuses to give up on her pursuit of Sugwang and the creation of her own destiny.
