In his final year of high school, the average-looking Yashio Yamano confesses to his childhood friend, the sweet Kanata Sugiura. Despite Yashio's dull appearance, Kanata has always loved his kind nature and reliability. Naturally, she accepts his feelings, and the two become an item.
