Caught between a rock and a hard place, Tsukasa Itabashi risks losing his entire livelihood. What should have been a joyous reunion with his childhood friend Kaito Shinagawa turns sour when Itabashi learns that Shinagawa is the contractor in charge of a shopping district redevelopment: one which threatens to run Itabashi's tailor shop out of business. The trouble continues when Itabashi's former schoolmate Ren Adachi reappears—now working for the yakuza, who have a keen interest in ensuring the success of the redevelopment project using any means necessary.

It seems as if Itabashi constantly finds himself in a tight spot: Adachi is determined to cash in on their old promises, Itabashi's lingering feelings for Shinagawa are resurfacing, and he has to fend off the yakuza to keep his business afloat. However, he is not one to go down without a fight; Itabashi will spare no effort to protect his neighborhood—and his heart.
