Following his 30th birthday, manga artist Shou Arai has been troubled by an existential question with no definitive answer: how does a person with no gender age? Since discovering that he was intersex 20 years ago, Shou has found very little information about individuals like him and what it means to grow up as a gender and sexual minority.
